Faron at Diego Salon is a very gifted hairstylist. She was very professional and I was very happy with her service. I recommend her to everyone. I refer my friends to her all the time. One of my co-workers had a bob done and she was so very happy. She actually said that Faron had done the best bob in boston.

I have been seeing Jadie at Diego for years, and she always does a fabulous job. I have thick, curly hair, and Jadie unfailingly gives trims and cuts that make me feel pretty and refreshed. Her rate is $50, and since I only get my haircut every 6-8 months, it's well worth it.
The salon also uses Redken and Tigi products, and no one has ever tried to push the products on me. If I ask for suggestions, however, everyone from Jadie to the other stylists to the receptionist are very helpful and knowledgeable. I don't know about you, but I appreciate that.- Maggie G
Ada was fabulous - she listened to me and she did exactly what I asked. The mini scalp massage was an extra treat and then she spent a long time blow drying my hair section by section so it would be straight. She was patient and never made me feel she was rushing, and she was friendly and easy to talk to. The best part was, she was more than willing to answer my hair questions and to explain techniques to me so that I would be able to better do my own hair. And really, isn't that what you want out of a haircut? Not only for it to look good when you leave the salon, but to have the ability to style it the same way yourself.- Katie S

I didn't really know what I wanted, but I showed Stephanie a picture of the kind of thing I was going for and she told me exactly what she was going to do and how she'd modify it for my hair type & face shape. It was great! She gave me specific options for what she could do and how it would look, and I ended up getting exactly the cut I wanted even though I didn't really know what I wanted to begin with. There was no pressure to buy extra products, etc. All in all, my best haircut & salon experience ever!
I loved this salon! I moved to Cambridge about 6 months ago. I have been jumping from salon to salon on Newbury Street, downtown and in Cambridge. I hadn't found anywhere I truly liked...until today. None of the salons could compare to the service and attention that I received. Stephanie was so nice and went well above and beyond my expectations. She listened to what I wanted and really was attentive to detail. I am so happy with my haircut.

I had been going to the Diego salon on Newbury Street for a while and I was happy with everything except for the commute to get there. It was just really out of my way. So my friend suggested that I go to the one in Harvard Square since it would be more convenient for me and she personally enjoyed the pleasant service there. She recommended me to see her stylist, Faron, and I've never been more happy. I gained so many compliments after getting my haircut and color by her. Now I truly believe that Harvard Square is the new Newbury Street. This advice has really saved me from some bad hair days, so I'm going to pass it on: Go to Diego Salon in Harvard Square. Since I came to Boston I haven't found a place and hair stylist that really satisfies my expectations. I have to say that I'm so happy that I found the place to do my hair from now and on. Stephanie is awesome, she not only did a great job with my hair, despite of my thick and abundant hair which I know is hard to manage, but she took care of me all the time. I never felt tired or bored. She is fun, careful and she really understands what you want. I was waiting to do my hair myself and see how it looks, which proved that she did a great job. I had been getting my haircut for the past few years from the same hairstylist. I was under the impression that this was the only style that could fit my face. Until a friend of mine, who went to a different salon in Harvard Square called Diego, kept asking me to try something different. After a while, I finally decided to follow her advice and went to try it out. I asked for the same hairdresser she was using. Her name was Faron. To tell you the truth I wasn't sure what was going to happen, but I was going to take my chances. She made me feel so comfortable. She asked me not to look until she finished, and I followed her instructions. I actually closed my eyes and prayed for something different. And finally when she was finished I opened my eyes and I didn't even reognize who I was looking at. I felt I had wasted the past few years going to the wrong person, and now I had found the right person. I looked good, I had more confidence, the color was perfect, and the cut was unbelieveable. I got compliments as I had never had before. I have to tell you: Faron, you got a client for life. My mission to her was to refer all my friends, which I already have done, to her because she is the best. Faron, thank you very much. You are the fabulous one.
Diego was my last stop in my neverending quest to find the best haircut I could get for my money. Before Diego, I went to a plethora of Harvard Square salons (Gino, Pyara, Rikki's Day Spa, Carriage House, and even Great Cuts!) and none of them measure up to Diego.
I've never tried their coloring services, but that's next on the list!- Anna W
Faron has been coloring and cutting my hair for about a year, and she always does an amazing job. My hair is not very healthy, and coloring it light blonde doesnt help, howver whenever i leave Diego's my hair is soft, silky, and smooth. Faron knows exactly what she is doing and she is an amazing hiarstylist. She cuts my hair exactly the way I want it and she does a fabulous job coloring my hair. The cut is always perfect and the color looks completely natural. She also always socializes with her clients, and makes sure they are comfortable. I would reccomend Faron to anyone who is looking for an extremely gifted hairstylist.
I got a short bobbish cut from Kelly a few weeks ago and it's great! In fact, it looks better and better as it grow out, which is sorta neat. This is the first "professional" haircut I've gotten in nearly a decade, so I'm glad to have found a relatively inexpensive, quality option right off the bat.- Jordyn B
I get my hair cut and colored by Faron at Diego and I always leave looking and feeling awesome. I've never had strangers ask me where I get my hair cut before, but now that I go to Faron someone stops me almost once a week. I'm not exaggerating! Do I wish I could get this kind of cut and color without paying an arm and a leg? Of course. Am I willing to experiment with the most visible part of my appearance to try to find a cheaper place? Not a chance. I'll stay with Faron at Diego until I move or she retires.- Stephanie B
Kelly gave me the best hair cut i've ever had. It was perfect and I wouldn't have done it any differently. I expected to not like it because I saw all the hair on the floor and expected to be in complete and utter shock that I had all my hair cut off. But it was exactly the opposite.
This short a-line bob she gave me is the top banana!! I haven't gotten so many compliments on hair ever, even with the best stylist in San Francisco. GO SEE KELLY, she is the best!!- Betty L
My husband and I have been getting our hair done at Diego Salon for about 6 years now. We both have been very happy with the service, both haircuts and color, the friendliness of the staff, and the courtesy that they have shown us thorughout the years. We will be moving to San Francisco in a couple of weeks and we wanted to make sure that if anyone in Boston needs to get their hair done right; then they should go see Faron at Diego Hair Salon. She is just amazing. She makes us feel like a "fabulous" (a personal quote from her) new person everytime we get our hair done. We will much miss her, and her service is very much recommended.
